IEC 62552 Refrigerator Thermal Performance Test -1℃ M Test Package
The M test package (hereinafter referred to as the test package) is a test package that is widely used worldwide to test the thermal performance of refrigerators, freezers, and freezers. It is safe, economical, and durable.
Composition of the Test Package
The -1℃ test package contains the following for every 1000g of filling material:
  • Hydroxyethyl methylcellulose: 230g
  • Water: 764.2g
  • Sodium chloride: 5g
  • Parachloro-meta-cresol: 0.8g
The freezing point of this filling material is -1℃, and its thermal properties are equivalent to lean beef.
Packaging material: A plastic film or suitable material having negligible water vapor exchange with the surrounding medium.
M package definition: A test package with a mass of 500g (50mm×100mm×100mm) with a thermocouple or other equivalent measuring device for temperature measurement installed at its geometric center. The thermocouple should be in direct contact with the packing, and measures should be taken to minimize external heat conduction. The thermocouple is 3.5 meters long.
